2010 Election

In the 2010 PEC Board election, members elected Chris Perry as District 4 Director and Ross Fischer as District 5 Director. The election of Perry and Fischer gives PEC a Board elected entirely through a democratic process, with each director nominated by members.

For a look back at all the 2010 candidates, watch their presentations at the PEC Candidate Forum or read the biographical information they submitted here.

In addition to electing directors, members approved adding a Member Bill of Rights and making three other amendments to the PEC Articles of Incorporation, which is a legal document filed with the state that defines the organization, purpose, and highest-level business rules of the Cooperative. Changes to the existing Articles of Incorporation have to be approved by members. The revised Articles of Incorporation will be posted soon.

Votes were counted only for members whose memberships were active on the date of the June 19, 2010, annual membership meeting. As a result, the final numbers presented here may be different than numbers previously presented.
