The Internal Revenue Service Form 990 is filed by organizations that are exempt from federal income tax. The document includes detailed information on the Cooperative’s income, expenses, and investments, and it also lists compensation and benefits for Board members, managers, and key employees.

Auditing firm BKD prepared PEC’s Form 990 for 2008 and presented the form’s contents to the Board of Directors in open session August 17, 2009. BKD filed the form with the IRS on the Cooperative’s behalf August 18, 2009.
