Our Annual Meeting
In accordance with PEC’s Bylaws, each year the Cooperative holds a meeting of the members in June. At the annual meeting, PEC members receive reports regarding the Cooperative’s activities during the past year. The meeting also brings the annual Board election to a close. While members can vote online or by mail prior to the meeting, they can also cast their ballots at the meeting.

*Members must register in person prior to 10:30 a.m. at the PEC Annual Meeting to be eligible for prizes. PEC directors, employees, director candidates and their spouses and dependents are not eligible. All door prizes will be awarded subject to terms and conditions to be disclosed at the time of the award.

- Help area citizens by bringing any non-perishable food items you can spare and putting them in the indicated bins for the Hays County Food Bank.
- Visit our Kidz Korner for fun and educational activities for your kids.
- Get information on how your teen can compete to win a trip to Washington, D.C.
- Ride the power bike to compare the effort it takes to power a compact fluorescent lightbulb versus an incandescent bulb.
- Check out our electrostatic generator and safely witness the wonder of electricity.
- Meet members of PEC’s award-winning lineman rodeo team (8:30 & 9:15 a.m.)
- Learn the importance of electric safety by watching a live, energized presentation of our “Safe City” program. (8:45 & 9:45 a.m.)
- Find out about solar panel leasing from NRG Residential Solar Solutions.
- Take a trip back in time with our 75th anniversary historical display.
- Tell us how PEC powers your life and what we can do to better serve you at our Listening Tour station.
